NCTJ GOLD STANDARD QUALIFIED JOURNALIST

Author: Tom Cavilla

My name is Tom Cavilla. I am 19- years-old and I am an NCTJ qualified gold standard journalist. My experience as a journalist includes undertaking work experience at Worcester City FC of the Vanarama National League North. During this time, I did commentating on the games – which has always been a dream of mine and also writing match reports. I have since been working at the Liverpool Echo on a voluntary basis since September 2017. During this period, I have been published over 120 times online, as well appearing in various podcasts. A story of mine recently made the front page of the Echo, with the follow-up article on page two the following day. Feel free to contact me on my email : tom.cavilla@hotmail.co.uk Thank you!
